Asia Hope Camp Organization (ACOPIA) has held in the last week of February an important event relating Korea and Japan relationship : the 13th Korea-Japan Forum.
Our guests from different part of the world, the international interns and staffs and the KPOP School student participated to discuss, share their opinion and find a peaceful way to establish better relationship between first the both population and then the countries.
Osaka performance on 26th December of last year was just one small step of the Acopia project “For the future”. For strengthening cohesion and good relations between Asian countries, especially between Korea and Japan, Acopia will held, this time in Seoul, its 13th Korea-Japan forum to discuss and find the solution in building a peaceful future between the both countries.
Acopia is now offering audition support to make the best out of our trainees’ auditions! Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced dancer or singer, Acopia has your back. We offer guidance for audition applications, airport reception, stay in a guest house, pre-audition practice, practical training, training space, shopping (makeup & style lesson from professionals) and travel assistance during your stay.
The December KTC has come to an end, leaving tons of participants with smiles, great memories and experiences to bring on their K-POP journey and career!
This month’s program consisted of a well-balanced mix between training and fun, combining dance- and vocal lessons with fun trips to discover Korea. Our trainees were picked up at the airport and continued their day with a tour through Hongdae, a well-known area for urban arts, clubs and other entertainment.
ACOPIA has had from the beginning a very special relationship with the city of Kumamoto. Indeed, this City, famous for its large and extremely fortified Japanese Castle and its cute mascot Kumamon, works closely with ACOPIA. Sharing the same goals, Kumamoto City and ACOPIA want to bring people together by showing Japanese culture to the world and by improving their International relationships as well.
ACOPIA, since its creation, has worked on the promotion of dialogue and deeper understanding through work camps, sharing cultural experiences and K-POP.
Our Japan/Korea performance tour will be our next step to spreading the peace and creating open mindedness relating to the future of these countries. With Ririko, an ACOPIA Japanese trainee, and with Doha from the KPOP Group Moonlight Girls.
ACOPIA SCHOOL has a Korean culture class every Wednesday! In culture class, we usually prepare a Korean traditional food with teachers.
The students are enjoying cooking the traditional food, especially with the Korean Teacher who makes delicious dishes. The interns too enjoy the food. Yes it looks good but it is also delicious !
Every Friday between 3 and 5pm, interns get the chance to attend Korean class at ACOPIA school. The native Korean teacher, who also speaks English, explains Korean traditions, culture and holidays, such as Chuseok and its food and meaning. She encourages us to speak and read, while trying to make everything as casual and fun as possible
The interns were given the opportunity to see IZ Comeback Show on Wednesday. It was a small and intimate gathering where fans got a sneak peek of the bands new music. The comeback show was definately a new experience for most of the interns that attended but it was definately worth it. We were exposed to a new genre of music and enjoyed the style of music the band had played.
During one week, aspiring trainees from all over the world, especially from Japan, Hong-Kong, France and America went to Seoul to experience the trainee life during one week and maybe have the chance to become trainees by doing auditions.
On 8 July 2019, NHK, Japan's sole and one of the biggest public broadcasters in the world, visited ACOPIA to film and conduct interview. Our broadcasting team’s interns, Anna and Ashleigh, spent the whole day with NHK to record the process of filming and interview.
ACOPIA internship program provide an opportunity for people to stay in Korea and experience the life in Korea. It also provides some activities for interns which let them to enjoy more during the internship program. In the upcoming day, we hope that there are more new interns will join ACOPIA.
Gurye is a wonderful place in Korea, known for its nature. Our interns from different part of the world shared this moment with Korean and Japanese for cooperation, cohesion, open mindset and peace building.

ACOPIA’s intern hits the week off busking in one of the most popular places in Hongdae for live music and dance. The Asia Hope Camp Organization offers free dance classes two hours a week for interns; a wonderful opportunity to seize for avid dancers like our interns to show their talents on the street !

At ACOPIA, many trainees and interns wear their love for K-POP girl groups on their sleeves. We’re talking TWICE, Blackpink, LOONA, EXID, Girls Generation, 2NE1 and enough names to make a personal essay about how much love goes around for their fellow girls. So when ACOPIA announced an all girl group themed LIVE CAFE, everyone was keen to get onboard.
