There was a time when my dad called me to go outside and I didn’t know the reason. Upon seeing the view, I was in awe with what I saw. There are days when the afternoon sky looked extra beautiful, and that day was one. As a person who loves documenting and taking pictures, I immediately ran fast to get my camera. It was a fleeting moment so I had to capture it. I also felt grateful that my dad called me, he surely knew I’d appreciate that lovely view.
The process of painting these unique looking clouds was a bit difficult for me. I didn’t really think they looked like clouds at all, but I kept going. In the past, I draw and paint things realistically most of the time but now that I’ve grown older, I prefer stylized art more. I liked the outcome of this painting and it’s a reminder of that unforgettable day.
