This is a three-part triptych of my body in a sari. I've always been self-conscious about my stretch marks.

I made this artwork after taking photos of my own body; it took a lot of guts, but I did it so that I wasn't hiding them anymore. It was done to demonstrate to others that these markings are normal and can be beautiful.

It sought to enhance my own self-esteem in a way that would also have an effect on others. All bodies are beautiful, with or without scars.
