This is the drawing of "Aglaia Odorata." In Myanmar we call it "Ta-Na-Kharr-Pann." It’s only grown in South East Asia. We all plant as a houseplant in Myanmar. It's used in traditional medical way. The roots are boiled with water to make a drink to increase appetite. The dried flowers can be used to produce perfume for clothes and to cure mouth ulcers and reduce fever. The dried branches and leaves are boiled in water and used to reduce pain from rheumatic joints, injuries from falls, superficial infections and toxic swelling.
Personally I love its smell so I plant it in my garden. One raining day, I took a picture of this plant with the rain drops. I was attracted to the color, the composition and the subject. I love this plant and my favourite color is green so I choose this as my artwork.
This is the final artwork of my university life. We need to draw the final artwork for our graduations. In graduation ceremony we show all our final artworks to public. Unfortunately, we face the military coup and we can't finish our ceremony and we all don't graduate.
