Solène
안녕하세요! My name is Solène. I am a student of La Rochelle Business School in France. I am currently doing an internship at Acopia as a part of my first year of Master studies. Next year, I am going to specialize in International Project Management so I applied for this internship to get an intercultural working experience. I have not been disappointed! I had the opportunity to meet and work with people from different part of the world (Japanese, Chinese, American, Iranian…). It is really fun to learn about other cultures and discover Korea together!
Thanks to Acopia, I get to know the Korean culture better. Each week, I have 2 hours of one-to-one Korean lessons at Acopia School. I also took part in the organized tour to the Demilitarized Zone with all Acopia’s interns. It was really fascinating to visit this historic place and learn about Korean history!
I have been working at Acopia for one month until now and I will stay two more month. My main occupation has been to promote Acopia on social media. I have been promoting different activities of Acopia such as Acopia’s Kpop Camp or the Workcamps of our partner in India. I have also been helping other interns and Acopia’s staff with different tasks. At first, it was destabilizing that Acopia give a lot of liberty to the interns in their work: you must be proactive and organized. However, it is really interesting because there are a lot things to do and each intern can achieve a personal project!
