The Sogang University Language School is located in the beautiful Abel Building of Sogang University, where students learn speech patterns that effectively develop communication skills necessary for daily life through a teaching method that focuses on speaking, also known as the Sogang Method!

Classes	No more than 16 students per class 7 levels from class 1 to 7

Outline of Language Center

■Class Features

Established in 1990, the Korean Language Institute of Sogang University (IKLES) specializes in researching a curriculum that enables students from beginners to conversationalists to take on the challenge of learning Korean without difficulty. The curriculum is designed to be learner-centered and task-oriented, so that learners can understand exactly what they are learning!

The main feature of this class is that it is learner-centered and task-oriented, in which students think and then take actual action (for example, calling a delivery service or asking for directions outside)!

■Attendance

If your attendance rate is less than 80%, you will not be allowed to advance to the next grade or complete the course.

Also, three tardies or early dismissals will count as one absence.

■Teachers

Three teachers teach one class, so students can learn from a variety of teachers!

Sogang University Language School Campus Tour

Located in Shinchon, a large student town surrounded by Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, and Hongik University. Sogang University's dormitories are not open to students of the Language School, but there are plenty of other lodging options, such as studio rooms and office accommodations. Shinchon is located along Subway Line 2, making it convenient and easy to get to any place, making it easy for students to enjoy a fulfilling student life.
