INTERNS kick off the first K-DANCE CORNER with KILLING Blackpink choreography dance class
This Monday night, it was the interns turn to take over ACOPIA’s dance studio in a bid to burn off some steam at the newest ACOPIA born event, K-DANCE CORNER.
The bi-weekly event welcomes foreigners to ACOPIA’s headquarters for two hours of K-POP dance, taught by intern Sophie Austin.
On this week’s agenda was Blackpink’s latest roof-breaking hit, Kill This Love. It’s a record composed with strong military-esque backbeat, paired with sharp, metaphorical choreography. Participants were keen to learn the key point especially, which has the girls firing bazookas at their ‘spoiled' love’.
In the future, the participants of K-DANCE CORNER have the option to dance in Hongdae’s bustling busking street, a first for many of the dancers present on Monday night.
For now, they will continue to work hard on perfecting their bazooka moves. Check back for more updates on their progress over the coming weeks!
