NESRINE ASFOURI

Internship period : March 2nd, 2020 to August 28th, 2020

My name is Nesrine I am a 25 year old French girl. I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Interculturality and International Cooperation at the University of Lille. To end my cursus I was required to do a 6-months internship abroad. I have always been interested in interculturality, cultural and linguistic diversity which is why I try to travel the more I can. I visited many countries but when I first came in South Korea 5 years ago, I stayed for 2  weeks and didn’t visit much and had a feeling of unaccomplishment; so when I discovered about ACOPIA I took this opportunity to pursue the internship program here. 

I previously did an internship in Lebanon during which I had the position of an Event Manager. I organised cultural events such as summer festivals and exhibitions in local museums. I am passionate about urban arts and folkloric arts so I wish that I will discover more about South Korea’s arts.

Hopefully I will be able to improve my skills in events planning during my internship.
