Lea
My name is Lea and I'm studying social services in Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Finland. I'm currently in the second grade. The reason why I applied for an internship in ACOPIA was because it offers a chance to engage with Korean students.
My main activities are forming partnerships with different organizations from my home country, visiting high schools and teaching English in 1:1 classes. My favourite activity is visiting high schools because I get to see a glimpse of Korean education.
My challenge was that I'm not a very good teacher but I tried my best with the English class. I have got knowledge of forming partnerships during this program. I also improved my teaching skills.
Life in Korea is great but more expensive than I expected. It is okay though because it teaches me to plan my budget.
